Small things matters.
I find this story is really true. When something caused you to be late, although you have made every preparation, something must be arranged in such a way, that you are been delayed because of some other events. And the GOD loves his children, and that is why he is making your schedule delayed, so that events that is gonna harm his children, will not come to pass.
In a show, Beyond belief, there is a true story, that a church choir, who never misses the church service for 20 years, was held back by each individual events, accidents that make the choir members, all of them, twenty minute late for the service. Because they have devoted their life for the church for 20 years, GOD was so deeply moved, that before the church, after long years, collapsed, no one is there to be injured or killed. After the events, when people have learnt about it, they pour in their resources to build them a new church, and the attendance for that church, greatly rosed.
There is another church, spole of by Rev Ulf Ekman. There is a church, where the door was broken by the explosion. In the end, the church door was blown so bad, there is no door left. And never think of the fact that you are gonna get the person who do it. Rather, bless the person, because he have took of the door, so that outsiders can see what is happening inside, and there is nothing to stop non-christians from joining in the service.

At a morning meeting, the head of security told stories of why these
people were alive..... and all the stories were just:
One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.
One of them missed his bus.
One went back to answer the telephone.
