Fourth Generation Fish Tank.

Finally, it is off the design stage and into fabrication stage. The fourth generation Fish tank, is something I am going to do now, after some evaluation done for the third generation.

This tank, is an improvement on the second level stage, where I can put some plants on top of a mini reservoir, an improvement from the first generation, together with an integration of 3 water crush features.

The fourth generation fish tank, is a combination of water crush from the first, plant reservoir from the second and water fall from the third. Let’s hope it is a finalized now.

Dreams of new machines.

If one day, machine have the ability to rebel, who do you think will win? The machine or the human?

I would say, it is the machine that will win. And I have this dream, that may spell one of the machine that is currently exist.

There is an old crop farming machine, so rarely maintained, it is rusty, and have lots of broken parts attached to it. Then, another seems broken machine came by, and introduced this crop machine to a workshop. Inside, is a small semi conductor manufacturing plant.

This plant, have the ability to make small microchips, and it modified the crop machine into an artificial intelligent machine, that can repair itself, and integrate new part. The only fault is the microchip that is implanted, is fed with information to burn a crop, and the assault any oppressor. It has to rob, steal and buy fuel for itself and the manufacturing plant. It also goes out to other broken and worn down machine and brings it to the manufacturing plant. The manufacturing plant grow more in power, and able to feed information on making another manufacturing plant somewhere.

One day, a storm brew, and lighting strike all the manufacturing plants, and only the machines, that have the ability to build manufacturing plants are left. These small machines are scrambling away from the other highly powered machines which hunts them. This is because they are programmed to run away for the highly machines. They try to steal and rob to get the materials to build the new manufacturing plant. At the same time, the must be able to get fuel to power themselves. When this plant is built, it does not function as better as before, because the first manufacturing plant have withhold some designs, and not passed down to the machines that can build the plant.

Does this scenario remind you of anything?

Yes it does. They are The Terrorist.

Briefly, if really, one day, machine rebel, I would think, machine will be the one who wins the war. This is because they have the ability to fight day and night. And their parts are replaceable. Just send back to the repair ship, and the machine will be fixed probably in a day or two. But for human, it would have to take weeks, months, and even years. And if any part is broken, there is no replacement. If we deprive the machine of energy, they would find an alternate ways to create and get their power. Whereas in human, we need food to sustain, and food required plants, and it requires space. If machine is to deprive human of energy, it would create virus on the plants or animals, and human cannot eat them anymore. Thus, they have no more alternatives. One interesting fact is that if you trace the ability of machines to gain energy, you can see that at the end of the line, Human became the source for energy. Human have the static electricity, and the body heat. Cluster hundreds of humans together, you can really feel the heat. Make them jump, more heat will be generated. This is because of the friction law where the heart pumping, creates flow, and the blood creates friction between the vessel and the blood platelet. And as long as human survives, machines have the ability to sustain when all alternatives is lost.

City Harvest new present.

It is official now, that the City Harvest Church Founder Pastor Kong Hee, do not want anymore pay from the church anymore. Instead, as a Christmas present, he is willing to work voluntary for the church, 16 hours a day, and for Jesus Christ, he will bring the message out by writing books, songs and gives speech. Such a passionate pastor for GOD. I think that is why, his life has been very successful because of blessing.

To bring the church to success, he made a committee out of 10 major member, and to see how the church operates, and to ensure that everything is accountable for, when dealing with the church funding. Well too bad I am no longer there.

On Christmas Day this year, I went out with xiao lan before dinner. Orchard is so filled with people, and after walking down some place, we headed home for steam boat at home. Hmm… so much for the polytechnic, they hold the test in the range of the holiday, and so much of studies have to be done.

I never know will Will eisner live to see this book published, because this book, is published 1 months after his death.

Will Eisner has been a pioneering force in narrative art for more than 60 years,

In Charles Dickens book Oliver Twist, it portrayed a jews called Fagin. This book looks into prejudice, poverty and anti-semitism. It not only portrays about Fagin, but also s small take into Charles Dickens ‘s Oliver Twist.

The story begins, where Fagin is in prison, talking to a mysterious man, about his life, from cradle to his sentence to death.

Moses Fagin, is in poverty since he is a child. He lost his father in an Anti-Jews environment, and his mother in lack of care from the government.

He earned his place in Eleazer Salomon, a bachelor who cares for Fagin. It is until he met Rebecca Lopez, who is of the upper caste, he was chased out by Emmanuel Lopez, her father.

Feeling guilty, he starts his life on the streets, and was sentenced to be enslaved to colonist after he was betrayed by some robber. For ten years, Fagin learnt new trade, and eventually fulfilled his sentence after many hardship. Upon return to his home, he became a trickster, and slipped by Rebecca Lopez, who have very important news about Salomon.

Fagin starts recruiting small boys as trickster, until he met Oliver Twist, and life starts to change as Oliver Twist’s mysterious background, influenced his life.

Sikes, a ruffian, is a partner in crime with Fagin. He is the one who sent Oliver Twist to Mr Maylie’s house for robbery. Mr Maylie, is Mr Brownlow’s lawyer. And Mr Brownlow, is Oliver’s guardian. After Sikes was dead, Fagin was captured, and sentenced to death. Oliver found his heritage through Fagin in prison, and was later, astonished to find out the true fortune that Fagin have. It is discovered after Oliver married the Grand daughter of Rebecca Lopez, Adele Lopez.

The sad truth revealed by Adele, can sent a person to tears because what she reveals, are the hidden love of Rebecca, and sadness of Salomon. The portray of Fagin, holding a Locket with a picture of himself, shows the influence of Will Eisner’s power in illustration, where a person will be feeling truly touched by the story.

Quarrel in the neighbourhood

Yesterday night, there is a quarrel in my neighbourhood. It's 2 storey right on top of me.
The man is like drunk, and he came home aand shout very loudly. Then the wife screaming, and the children are crying.Almost everyone in the neighbourhood woke up and hear them some even shout to them to keep quiet.

Oh gosh, it is such frightening, cos relationship are at stake, when a couple shouts. This is more serious if there is a fight involved.

One thing came to mid, is that, how come nowadays there are no more peace maker. In the olden days, whenever a family quarrel, usually the neighbour, would come and talk sens out of it. And then peace will come upon them. But now, in the society today, instead of going to the troubled neighbour to be a peacemake, they just call up the police, and let them handle it. Is this what the urbanisation done to us, the people of the world?

This is one book I read, maybe I should put this book review, so that many others can read.

The 4 stories are about lives and dreams in Bronx tenement.

In the first story, Frimme Hersh made a contract with GOD, and lost his adopted daughter, Rachele. He throws the contract, and built an empire with bonds entrusted to him by the synagogue. He finds no happiness in his empire and eventually dies with his empire destroyed.

The street singer:Ronald Barry, a street singer found a star opportunity with a Diva by chance during the great depression. He blew it when he failed to recall where the Diva live.

The Super: Mr Scuggs is a Super in 55 Dropsie. He is a man filled with lust. And it is lust that cost him his life.

Cookalein: When Summer arrives, tenants go to cookalein for vacation. There, the singles look for wealthy husbands or wives and couples commit adultery. When summer ends, they return back to the sanctuary of the tenement.

Time for celebration~!

A new job is found.

Yup, after more than a month of searching, I have finally found new job, as a store operator.

Hmm…. It is a really low salary job, even goes down to 3 digit. But well, I hope to learn something out of it.

It is really hard to find an engineering job. This is because there are a lot of new graduates out there, working, and some willing to make only a peanut out of it, just for the experience. So to me, in my opinion, there is no rush for it. Rather than to fit myself tightly into the environment, I would like to have a job that suits my need.

4th Generation water filter.
It is I the design stage, the fourth attempt to improve the upper level filter. I am now trying to get rd of that mysterious leaking of water, and make a new improvement. And to make the biological filter, consume smaller volume of water.

Skinner and more skinner
This is in the field of the bloggers. It is reported in the newspaper, yesterday, tha there are some bloggers, who have developed a sickness, tha make a person dislike food, and wanted to get only bones in their body.

There are some people, who find this amazing, and are proud of it. They take the pride of not eating, and a small amount of food they would feels very guilty, and would punish themselves, to get the food out of their body. Some don’t even drink water. I really hope they would continue to eat and be happy people.

The Pharaoh’s curse.
Twilight Zone, is re-telecast again. The feature of the week, the Pharaoh’s curse. It is a magic that any magician are looking forward to learning it. This magic is only performed by only 1 magician once, and it is passed to the younger generation.

A young apprentice, claims to know the secret way behind performing the magic, finds out the real trick of moving between two chamber, and finds himself unable to perform it, because it is only the one who came up with this magic, knows how to performs, and he keeps the youth of the partner in performance.

Christmas is coming
Hmm… When there is a call for charity, what would you give? Some used cloth? Or softstuff bears, or food, due to expire in 2 weeks time?

No kidding. This is what was reported some years back, and the charity are asking people not to donate these kind of stuff.

In today, the scenario is different. This is what I encountered with a salvation army donation box in one of a well established condominium. On a certain day, the salvation army put a red bin, asking residents to donate any meaningful things, meant for the under privileged people. They are going to leave it there, and collect on another day.

As I was swimming, I saw some couple, and old lady, just go to the bin, open up, and see what is it inside. And then they close the cover. One thing struck to me. Are they looking for good stuff? Or thinking whether the bin is full?

After my bath, I was sitting on the bench nearby, I couldn’t believe my eyes! There is a lady, who looks wealthy, go to the bin, and search through, and then, pick up some items, and walk away. Next comes another couple, just open up the lid, and then, the girl said she like that, and the man beside, just dig in, and took out the things, meant for the salvation army. What is the world going to? Hmm….I really now know why there are left rugged items in the bin. Usually, people put it in, and another, just pick up the best and walk away, leaving the spoilt for the salvation army. This is really sad to see that a person, so rich to live in a condominium, doesn’t have the money to buy the essentials, and have to dig into the salvation army bin to get the items. It is what the bible said before. Seven fat cows, eaten by seven thin cows.

Video spoilt.
This is it, one of my videos broke down. Well. So much for that. The video have been with me for many years, and well, after it breaks down, I got the chance to go out to find a new item called DVD recorder. Ha ha. It is a recorder, and using hard disk to record the shows. I have to go through many brands, and to study the usage and apart from number of time slots, and power consumption, I also look for the capacity, the amount it can record. The only one I see, is a pioneer DVR630HS. Yup. This set, have 455hours of recording, and it supports digital audio. I go it in courts. Yup. And one thing to note, during my sourcing, I can see the sales, only goes to the one who dress well looking, and not bothering the one, who dress casual (Me). I was in one shop, and when I ask the technical aspect of a model, the sales just speak like he is thinking I am not going to buy it. And then, another customer came by, and his face is full of bright smile, and speaks to him. I was so disgusted, that I left the shop and don’t bother to consider other brand.

COURTS Superstore
When I went to courts, there was at first, no sales person, and then I ask a sales person nearby, and ask him. He commented that the sales person incharge of DVD recorder is not around. And ask me if I have any question. When he was stuck, he go and ask another person nearby. After seeing the other don’t know the answer, one of them call up the sales person in charge over the mobile, and he came immediately. He was very knowledgeable and knows the other brands features as well. So I pick out the DVD recorder, and he ask another person to pack it up. Anyway, after sourcing from other shop, the Courts is the cheapest price, and that is why, I buy that model at courts.

Well, so much for that.

One Month without job

Yup, it is already, one month, without a single job, nor an interview.

hmm...Everytime when I was disapointed, I would reminded of some words from the holy one, and Amory, he sent me an article, which is one month of anniversary of my self employment.

It said that GOD, have a purpose, and when no hope is there, I still must have faith, because it is the most powerful tool as Lord Jesus Christ taught us.

Here is an article, I would like to share, about JOB, the man, who despite being cursed, and so down on, did not speak of a ord against GOD. I wanted to have that too.

The hedge

Job was a "perfect and upright" man -- a real saint -- and as such he was providentially protected by a "hedge" of angels (Psalm 34:7 and Hebrews 1:14), and the sheltering love of God. Yet no true servant of the Lord escapes the eye of the adversary. Satan and his hosts are constantly seeking to trap us and hinder us as we walk the pilgrim pathway to the City of God. Nothing, however, can harm us or come inside the hedge unless God allows it. We are guarded on all sides by His presence, for He is before us (Isaiah 48:17); behind us (Isaiah 30:21); to the right of us (Psalm 16:8); to the left of us (Job 23:9); above us (Psalm 36:7); underneath us (Deuteronomy 33:27); and -- in this dispensation -- even within us (1-Corinthians 3:16). When things which seem adverse happen to us, we must recognize immediately that they come to us with divine permission and definite purpose.

A pastor and true child of God, was once extremely ill. In his weakened condition, he was severely attacked by the evil one. "I have had a terrible conflict with the enemy today," he said in his quaint way. "The devil said, "Thou hast been my enemy all thy life, and now I have thee fast, and now I shall have my revenge on thee on the deathbed." "And what did you say to him then, pastor?" said a friend who had called to comfort him. The old man raised himself upon one elbow and with a loud and vigorous voice exclaimed, "I said, 'devil, the Lord hath put a hedge about me, and thou canst not touch me." "What did the evil one say to that?" asked his friend. "Nothing!" replied the old gentleman. "The old serpent just fled, and I fell into a peaceful sleep!" From that moment the pastor had no further doubts, for he recognized his divine security and protection.

In God's care we too can be at peace, for He keeps "the hedge."

Our God hath given promise --
